I chose this refill adapter because of its many features. I even noticed another cool feature, as I was putting it up in my shop. In the picture I took, you can see that the fuel gauge needle glows in the dark. I really like the valve on this. Most others don’t have a valve, I feel that they are unsafe. Craftsmanship is great, it’s put together right. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that refills your own small bottles.

I go through a lot of little canisters from camping, torches, etc so I wanted something to make it a bit cheaper to refill. This does a good enough job of refilling them The craftsmanship on this adapter is nice and it did not leak at all. The handle turned smoothly and the gauge works but it won’t tell you when it is full or did not for me. I opened the handle and just waited until the noise stopped because that meant the gas wasn’t being pushed in anymore because pressures were equalized. It took about 30 seconds to a minute per bottle and by my math I save a few bucks per tank refilling them myself. If I had a larger propane tank I might even save more but that is based on a 5 gallon. Overall, does the job and I like how easy it is to use. I would recommend this.

I like the way it angled down for the refilling bottle. Technically it should increase the flow with the gravity. My setup is putting the propane tank upside down on the edge of the table and have the coleman bottle on the table side connected to the kit. It works really well with the red valve, easier than having to reach the propane switch and rotate the switch. Also, the regular adapter one side is reverse so it is always tricky to use it but this one is without that issue which is great. Everything else works just fine like the regular adapter.
